Should've bought that crumpled rag

Namely - this (spied in TK Maxx, by Sisley).....
Doesn't look too attractive on the hanger, does it?

It looked better on, I think:

In other news, I bought this (M&S Autograph), but sort of wish I hadn't.  More like a jumper than a dress. Rides ever upwards. :-/  Hence has limited wearage, other than as a tunic, which is pretty inconvenient seeing as the weather is warming up.

C'est la vie chez ASH.

    1. I may yet do so...Sadly though was a few days ago so probably have missed the boat now :-( Although given its hanger appeal, there's an outside chance! x

  3. Oh I love that dress, what a shame it rides up. Have you thought about (ssssh) a slip?

    2. Yes that might work, would need to be a micro slip if such a thing exists tho, as it's pretty darn short to start with! Xx

  5. I think you should go back to TKM too - it's a lovely coat and good for this time of year. Shame about the M&S tunic - it's lovely though so you might find you get more wear out of it than you think? Ax

    1. Knew I made the wrong call with the coat: it was on a week where I was being particularly strict! Probably too late to go back now, though if I get a chance I will see if it's still there, they had a couple so you never know...Xx

  6. I like the coat - it's a good shape for you and it's the kind that I'm always looking for but everything seems to be all about the cocoon shapes and sometimes I don't want to look like a weeble.

    1. It's a classic shape and I rather liked the two tone effect which adds what a more able commentator might call a 'twist' :-) xx

  9. The coat is fab - never walk away without something - better to take it and return it - Sue knows all about that:)

    1. Ha, yes - it's a wise strategy ( to 'do a Sue'), but for some annoying reason I didn't follow it that day! X
